Hello!

It's nice to meet you all! I've seen this forum around and decided to bite the bullet with joining; Took me a little bit to make an intro tho, since I totally misspelled my username and got embarrassed LMAO It's supposed to be Rainydaydeer. Oops!

My name is Mo! I'm in my 30s and I live in Canada, though I'm originally from Arizona! I mostly draw, though I enjoy collecting things, and that includes old digital trinkets like blinkies! I'm also a polytheist and practicing witch, and I do a lot of tarot readings.

See you all around!

Hi!!(*・ω・;)

Maybe you can see if the admin can fix it for you?
Or maybe you'll just roll with it!! (⌒_⌒;)

Arizona to Canada... That's a huge change! I bet you're probably liking summer up there a lot more!

And tarot readings! How fun! I dabble in astrology myself but have not gotten into tarot. I like meditation and some herbalism, too! (ノ>ω<;)ノ :。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆

Hi!!

It's not a huge deal either way, but maybe I can ask them to fix it haha. At the very least I can laugh about it!

It was definitely a huge change! But one I'm VERY happy with. The summers here are infinitely better; I'll take some humidity over 100+ degrees any day. All the plants here are worth it alone!

Ooh, that's awesome!! Astrology is fascinating to me but something I'm not well versed in outside of a few basic things. Herbalism is so interesting! I love learning what plants can do, or even which ones can be eaten!

I spent a good bit of time earlier this year reading up on herbalism. There's some really good books if you're into correspondences for different herbs. Right now I've got a little herb garden going but it's quite hot here now so some of my herbs are struggling. Do you have a favorite herb? I think mine is rosemary or spearmint.

If you have any book recs, I'd love to have them!

I hope your herbs pull through!! It's been pretty hot here, too, but it's finally dipping down into the 70s again, so the last like... 2 days? Have been quite nice. Personally, I love all kinds of Mint!! It's so refreshing and I think the fact the mint family is so varied is very neat! Though if I had to narrow it down, probably peppermint!

OMG I've been late on this. I've been busy but a couple of books I've liked have been by Paul Beyerl. He did A Compendium of Herbal Magick, and Master Book of Herbalism. They're both nice resources!

I also like to research herbs and plants native to my area so I can incorporate those plants into my practice. It's a little harder to track down that info in a lot of mainstream occult / craft books, BUT if you're down to read ethnobotanical studies, folklore, etc., you can find some super cool info about all sorts of neat plants!!
